Hey there! Welcome to ViewPoint! We are a non-profit organisation aiming to spread awareness, raise money, and give you the ability to voice your opinion in a way that can create real world change.

VIEWPOINT
Our goal is to fight for the causes you believe in, using the money raised from our readers buying the magazine.

ViewPoint magazine launched just this year after we noticed a growing desire for change amongst young people. From climate rallies to Black Lives Matter protests, more of us than ever are choosing to fight for what we believe in in some form. We recognise that there are a multitude of ways to make a difference, one of these is spreading awareness and raising money through a magazine.
When you buy ViewPoint magazine for £3.99, £1.99 of that goes to a cause voted for by readers like you. And if you're wondering where the other £2 goes, don't worry! It doesn't just disappear into our pockets, it goes towards producing our next issues so we can keep this running!

The cause that money from each issue goes towards is chosen by our readers, not us! Every month, we will offer a selection of lesser-known charities and information about them on our website for you to select and vote for! We select these based on the issues popular in the news, particularly with young people, at the moment. Don't miss our articles on these causes both in our magazine and online! Also, if the cause you voted for doesn't win, it will likely return in a future vote, the same goes for previous winning causes. Every cause deserves a fair chance!

As a magazine, we have four simple aims we hope to accomplish. With your help, achieving these aims can create real change in the world with issues that matter to you.
Spread awareness of various issues to readers of our magazine
Raise money for various causes, selected by our readers
Anyone can write for ViewPoint, our main staff range in age from 18 year olds straight out of school to a few people in the 40-50 age range. Most of us are fairly young and we hope this allows us to see things from a different perspective than the majority of current affairs and news publications.

We also host a team of volunteer under 18s writers, whose articles are presented alongside those of our professional staff. These young people are mentored by a member of our permanent staff and have access to our facilities under our guidance. We often look to them for different perspectives and so having them has been mutually beneficial. We welcome anyone who would like to get involved.
